What do you say when the oldest person you know passes on? Only thing to say is how sad we are and how proud we are. Our Grandpa was 107 years old. What all did he see? What all did he remember? What did he bring? Well, Grandpa brought Canada a wonderful family (with Grandma) that spreads across the country. This family is united under the Park name and are all together in thoughts and prayers this week by the loss of Grandpa’s life. Grandma, we know that God, your family and your friends are with you right now to help you through this very difficult time. You’ve been with Grandpa over 78 years and although he’s gone to heaven, he will be with you every day from above. Dad (Ken), we know you admired your Dad all your life and that you will miss him tremendously. Grandpa gave you determination and strength and the quest for knowledge and completion. We wish you peace and comfort as you say “So Long” to your Dad. Aunt Carolee and Aunt Deanne: Thank you for being with Grandpa (and Grandma) and able to help them for many years. We wish we could have come more to be with all of you and to know you all even better. Distance has kept us apart, but our hearts and love are always with you. May God bring you peace during this time of sorrow. Love you all of you and our prayers are with you all. God Bless you. Dear Great Gramma Doris, I cannot comprehend the loss you must be feeling. I am so sorry. I think that it is amazing that you were married for so many wonderful years. I hope that I can follow in your foot-steps. Grandpa Ken, I love you with all my heart and am thinking of you (big hugs, even though I can't be there). To my great Aunt's, I am so sorry for your loss. I think that Great Grandpa lived such a long and healthy life, and he should be celebrated! All our Love, Julie, Jason and Ethan Fredin.

just before this photo Grandma adjusted her wedding rings so they were in the photo. She said that she had them for 76 years (then).

To my dear Gram, my dearer Dad, and my Aunts DeAnne and Carolee. I wanted you to know that even though I have been far away in distance, you are always close to me in my heart. Gram, I cannot imagine how you are feeling, losing your husband of almost 78 years. I pray that God will give you the strength you need at this time. Dad, I only have a small insight into how you feel. Know that I am always here for you and I love you more than you know. To my Aunts, I pray that you will remember the times that you shared and that your memories will carry you through. All of my love, Karen (and family)
